Hi,

I'm currently porting my application (yaprm.sf.net) from gtk2 to 3. And es several others I have the problem that I was using gtkglext. As my gl needs where not that heavy I spent the last two night on trying to get opnGL into my gtk application myself. As you can assume from this mail I was not very successfull.

Therefore I would like to support the effort and bring gtkglext3 further. As a first step can anybody tell me where to find the latest code for testing. I'm currently mainly working under Linux.

Thanks,
Alois

Hi,

in the last days I ported my application to the gtkglext port to gtk+3 from Thomas Zimmermann  which is available here: https://github.com/tdz/gtkglext.git

I can say it works like a charm. It compiles and installs on my Debian testing machine without problems. Also geting it to work in my application was very easy. Especially comparing it to the old version where I used gtkglextmm.
I even managed to get it working with gtkmm. If you like to see this you can have a look at the latest version in the repository of Y.A.P.R.M.: https://sourceforge.net/p/yaprm/code/

It would be great to get this work back into the official repository. Does anybody know what is is required?

Alois
