Good grief!!

Boy, is gtk_signal_connect deprecated!  A few judicious s/*/*/
eliminated all the complaints.  Obviously, my memory of many months ago
is flawed; I must have seen that message then, and don't know why I
didn't go ahead and fix it.  Yep, time to get serious here...
