coverage of glib2.8.4 testsuite

hello,
  i was checking the coverage of glib 2.8.4 testsuite and found that  about 413 APIs are not called at all. I mean they are not even called  by some other function that is tested. can someone please tell why is  such a case or is their some other test suite for glib.
