Hi!

You should compile fontconfig, as your log said.
http://pdx.freedesktop.org/~fontconfig/release/fontconfig-2.2.0.tar.gz

And you should also set the env-variable PKG_CONFIG_PATH to the directory,
wich fontconfig.pc is (after compiling fontconfig)
