font name given GdkFont

Is there any way to get a font name (i.e. "-b&h-lucidatypewriter-blahblah")
given the GdkFont?  I've checked gtkfontsel.c for a method to convert a GdkFont
into a name, but came up with nothing.  I've also checked gdktypes.h to see if
the GdkFont structure kept the font name around but it only seems to store
ascent, descent and a GdkFontType whatever those are.
