Hello,
I wrote a gtk-widget similar to gtkimage and I get up to 5 expose
events if I resize the widget. So I thought about speeding up the
drawing by setting a clipping-rectangle befor calling
'gdk_draw_gray_image' (I used to redraw the hole image). To my
surprise this does slow down the redrawing of the image.
Is this some wiered effect or is generaly unwise to set a
clipping-rectangle and it's faster to redraw the whole image?
MfG
