newbie: Help with Win32 Gtk application development

Hello:

I am new to Gtk and GUI development. I downloaded gtk-1.3.dll from
gtk-win32 site. I also downloaded mingw (gcc) and installed it. 

I have not used gcc and also Gtk in windows environment. I have some
experience with Gtk in Linux environment. I would appreciate, if anyone
could help in getting started with the GUI development in Windows
environment using mingw, gtk-1.3. If there is small sample code (like
hello world) using dll's would greatly help.

Is there any tutorial about getting started with win32?

I am using Windows NT and Gtk-1.3.dll
