1.2.6 usually, and I test on 1.2.3 as well, but they don't make a
difference. I cleaned the source a bit this evening, you're all welcome to
test this on my new 0.3.6pre12 release:
*************************
bluefish-0.3.6pre12 from ftp://137.224.211.16/pub/bluefish or
http://bluefish.linuxbox.com/download/
get the test html file from ftp://137.224.211.16/pub/bluefish/debug/ or
use a large html file to test.
compile
you have to start a first time, open the configuration, select
"continuous highlighting" and from the menu "reset highlighting patterns"
(or something like that), and select "save & close". Just close down so
the test is the same for everybody.
start again
click the open button, select the file, click OK
press F5 (refresh) any amount of times, highlighting is allright
move the scrollbar a little bit lower (you don't need to click in the text
widget, just move the scrollbar)
press F5 again --> segfault in gtk_text_delete_forward()
******************************************
the code is in highlight.c, when you press F5 it calls stop_highlighting()
and then start_highlighting(). In stop highlighting I created a define so
you can choose between two alternative ways (in about 5 lines) to stop the
highlighting. Both have the same problem.
any better suggestions to remove all colors are definately welcome!
thanks for any help,
Olivier
