Hi,
I'm using a fairly large gtk_drawing_area to display some graphics in
a window. In reaction to an expose-event I'm using a gdk_draw_rgb_image()
call to redraw parts of the drawing area (I'm not using pixmaps because
of the frequently changing content of the graphic). This solution isn't
very flickerfree, even with the x server running on the local machine
using shared mem. When using gimp, there is no flickering which scrolling
a window. Any hints what's wrong or maybe a better solution than the
one I'm using before I'm diving into the gimp source ?
Bye,
Axel
