need size of paned window

I have an application that uses a paned window to display a list on the left
and a graph on the right (using Gtk-Plot).

Now, I have to give the plot a size and this is fixed since I am specifying
it with pixels.  I want to be able to resize the graph when the pane changes
size of when the window changes size (thus changing the pane size).

Is there a way to get the size in pixels of a paned window?
