G_List

Hi
Is anyone of you familiar with G_List? I want to use a Gtk_Combo and it
needs a GList, so therefore I can also use the Gtk functions
( GList = g_list_append(GList,  "String") ) but I want to use the Gtk--
object G_List. It's included in gtk--/base.h but I can't use it,
I get a parse error before *.
Can anyone help me, although this is a Gtk-- question and not a Gtk one?
