The kernel isn't giving the X server enough processor time. The magic
number will depend on the person's X server, their video card, their
kernel, the amount of RAM they have, their processor speed, their cache,
and the set of other processes that are running. Obviously this is a
computationally intractable problem. :-) The only solution is to a) get a
faster computer or b) demand fewer resources, for example by using a
timeout instead of an idle.
