Refresh problem with theme

Hi,
I have a refresh problem in a label when the label is into a event_box.
If the label is outside a event_box, it refresh fine.

To update the label I use gtk_label_set_text()

The problem shows when you use the pixmap theme from the 
gtk-engines package.

I include a simple code modified from the helloworld.c
Just untar and type 'make label_test'

rpm versions (RedHat 5.2):
gtk+-1.2.1-7
gtk+-devel-1.2.1-7
glib-1.2.1-1
glib-devel-1.2.1-1
gtk-engines-0.5-11
