Is this true? The last I heard was that 1.2 wasn't threadsafe and that there
were no plans to make the toolkit threadsafe because there's no way to do
that without imposing overhead on non-threaded programs. If it is threadsafe,
it would make my life a lot easier, or at least that part of it that's spent
writing multithreaded GTK+ programs and writing hacks to make sure that only
one thread is calling GTK routines :)
