Re: new color selection widget

I'm new to Gtk, relatively new to GUI C apps on Linux, and very interested
to learn.

'Tall kinda makes sense to me, except for manipulating the signals /
functions between widgets.

I've hacked through all the tutorials, FAQ's, and have learned a lot from
them.  This is one thing I cannot figure out how to do.

I have  a program that has a button, entry widget, text widget.

I'd like to learn how these widgets work together, say like this:

When you click the button, whatever text is in the entry widget at that
time, gets appended to the text window.

I won't embarrass myself by posting the code, and the probably laughable
things I've tried...........

It probably seems stupid to most on this list, but any help or ideas on
writing these signal connections and functions this out would help me a
lot.  If there are other examples such as this out there other than on
gtk.org, please let me know.
