Re: Peace Everybody (Postscript???)



Since I've sparked this debate I guess I should give a bit more background, then you
guys might have a way of assisting me.
    My program will interface with the kde addressbook to enable the quick and
simple creation of receipts (i.e. for us computer consultants out there).  Other
then the graphic design I haven't figured it all out (and by graphic design I mean
thank G-D for Glade).
    Anyways it will produce a bill, and that bill must be printed.  This part leads
me to the question.  If the bill is in a popup window how would I print it?  I was
thinking of trying to run a screen-capture utility on the window rect(location) and
then it would already be in postscript.  Unfortunately this is only of use for
people with the specific screen capture utility, and since I use KDE... X11 and
Gnome people may use a different util.  Then again, in the spirit of open-source I
could maybe use it and give credit.
