Just a short question: Is there a paper that describes the OO design
of gtk+? I know how it works in principle but I wanted to copy the
style for my diploma thesis.
I know there is the gtk+ tutorial which talks about some aspects of
the OO system, but i doesn't go deep into implementation details. And
I know that the biggest information available is the source :-). But I
think that the developper had a design draft they followed while
implementing gtk+.
By now, if have copied different aspects from different languages
(C, C++, Objective-C) so that the resulting code is a big mess :-)
Are there plans to extract the OO subsystem of gtk+ and to provide
this as an development environment for other projects, too?
Dirk
