...which unfortunately are out of date.
If you have two files, Book1.gnumeric and Book2.gnumeric,
in the same directory, you can enter something like
=[Book2.gnumeric]Sheet1!A2
in Book1.gnumeric.
Note: both workbooks need to be open for this to work.
(And since it hasn't been well tested, it is sure to be
buggy like crazy.)
