Suggestion for function descriptions

Hi all.

I have the following suggestion for the handling of
function descriptions in gnumeric:

Short description in the .[ch] files which also goes into
the .pot file and gets translated the traditional way.

Long description in a .sgml file which will be transformed
to a help file during make install or dist or whatever.

URL/Link in the short description to the full description
in the generated html/(help file format) file just like
we have today in the help files. ie.

So when the function-wizard pops up with the short version
there will be a link like:

ghelp:/path-to-helpfile/fn-statistic.html#FUNCTIONNAME

which will bring up the full description in a help-browser
window or something.

Then we can translate the .sgml files like all the other
docs that get translated. I suggest the translators focus
on the short descriptions since that is probably what will
be used most of the time.

Cheers

the coders want)
