Gnumeric --> Excel conversion problems

Hi,

I've been using Gnumeric to do some basic engineering calculations, however I
have encountered a problem when I attempt to convert my spreadsheet in
Gnumeric to an Excel 95 .xls file.  After saving the file in Gnumeric to the
.xls format at home, I am unable to open it using Excel 97 or 95 at the school
computers.  Excel complains that either it does not recognize the format, or
it attempts to import it as a plain text file.  I've put the offending files

If someone would see if they can open my Excel file, or resave my Gnumeric
file in Excel and get it to open, it would be appreciated.  I would like to
see if this bug is confined to my setup, as I have not heard many complaints
about conversion problems before.

BTW, Is compatibility to Excel worksheets a goal for Gnumeric, or just from?
