Truly incredible...

Hello,
Just to tell you that I have solved the problem of installing
gnome-print.
I have tracked down the place where it happened to crash :
My search led me to find that it was in
xmlAddChild( fontmap->root, font );
function call in the function append_font from gnome-font-install.c
So I re-installed libxml 1.7.3
and magically, it worked fine...Now I can at least use gnumeric again..
But the most strange is that I didn't change anything.
To resume, I had full gnome compiled from the source, on a RedHat 5.2 on
/opt/gnome
Then I upgraded to 6.1, but didn't recompile any gnome application.
It might be then that gnome-print wasn't functional anymore, without
noticing it actually, because I
don't use gnumeric for print, but spreadsheet only.
I then noticed that I couldn't print with gnumeric any more, so I told
the mailing list.
Ok I know that my mail weren't very useful, but it was all I could say.
Sorry.
Maybe there is incompatibility with glibc older version. It could be due
to RedHat after all.
