Wouldn't you have to do that with the worksheets and Ctrl-Tab too? You
can Alt-Tab and Shift-Alt-Tab to go back. Also if you use WindowMaker
you can have more than one workspace. Putting gnumeric in one of them
means that you won't have to cycle through any but the gnumeric
windows.

I'm sure if you give it a chance you will see that is isn't that bad :-)
