[GnomeMeeting-list] sound does not work

Hi All,

I am using a knoppix 3.8, I have a ES1688 CARD and it  does not work.

All others applications work: mplayer, xmms. kaffeine, etc.

When I try to configure gnomemeeting it says that sound card does not 
work, I have tried OSS and ALSA.

Please give me any help.
