Difference between ORBit and libIDL?

Is there a difference between ORBit and libIDL? I thought that libIDL was the
ORBit library that comes with gnome-core.

I'm asking because I'm trying to compile OAF from CVS and it's configure
script is asking for /usr/share/aclocal/orbit.m4 instead of
/usr/share/aclocal/libIDL.m4.
