Gnomeice applet

I get the following error when I try to compile the latest Gnomeicu-source
(0.91):

applet.o: In function `make_applet':
/opt/sources/gnomeicu-0.91/src/applet.c:93: undefined reference to
`applet_widget_get_panel_pixel_size'

I have October Gnome installed and I can't find the corresponding function
in applet-widget.h.
Should I update to the new Gnome 1.1.x series for this to compile, or is
there something else wrong?
