Before we completely leave this thread... Does anyone have any ideas on 
how to collect accurate usage data for adaptive input programs? Keep in 
mind that the time taken to compose an email can be quite lengthy for 
some GNOME users who might be operating their desktop perhaps via a puff 
switch...

Really, I'm looking for ideas.
