Thanks Paul.  I guess I could have found that with some minor
searching. :)  I'm going to assume that Ubuntu won't be backporting this
fix.  One of my main reasons for upgrading this workstation was to get
2.12.

I've been looking for an excuse to use your makefile for a little while.
