Hi,
I've already stumbled upon this bug in the past and a friend of mine was
already complaining about "my stupid linux" which can't even copy and
paste.
However, I couldn't put my finger on it back then. But now as you
mention it, I remember that it always was about copying sth. out of
emails.
I can reproduce this behavior with current gutsy. I think this is worth
filing a bug as copying something out of mails is a quite common use
case.
