AFAIK, *all* other IMAP servers allow multiple concurrent accesses. I
really dislike UW imapd for a bunch of reasons. If you want an IMAP
server that lets you manipulate your mail locally on the machine as
well, I recommend Courier. If you don't care about that feature, then
Cyrus has more features than Courier does (and is probably more widely
deployed/tested as well).
