i can't go back /forward with my 5 buttons mouse

Hello,

I have configured my xorg.conf to allow my Intellimouse Explorer 5 buttons mouse to work with ubuntu.

That way i can go back/forward in Firefox with buttons 4 & 5 on the side of the mouse, whereas it doesn't work in Epiphany...

Is there a way to permit that behaviour ?
