Version 0.96 was the first one to implement a proper way to determine
the width of the text strings and so allow a uniform text width across
screen, printing and export. However, it does not seem to have seen as
much testing under Windows as it should have (I don't have a Windows box
myself, and don't know what may be going wrong).
