GNOME 2.22.0 Release Candidate (2.21.92) Released!

GNOME 2.22.0 Release Candidate (2.21.92)
========================================

This is the last unstable release before 2.22.0. It's been a pretty fun
ride since September. New features. Bug fixes. Translations.
Documentation. Lots of bug triaging too. And we're getting ready to
start again for 2.23! But before, we need to make sure 2.22.0 will be
rock-solid. There's still a few days before the hard code freeze, so
it's not too late to fix this last bug you're ashamed of ;-)

To compile GNOME 2.21.92, you can use GARNOME
(http://www.gnome.org/projects/garnome/, which supports users and has
additional/different modules available), or the jhbuild
(http://www.gnome.org/~jamesh/jhbuild.html) modulesets (which use the
exact tarball versions from the official release) available at:

The release notes that describe the changes between 2.21.91 and 2.21.92
are available. Go read them to learn all the goodness of this release:

TESTING! TESTING! TESTING!
--------------------------

This release is a feature, user interface, and string frozen snapshot
primarily intended for wide public scrutiny before the final GNOME
2.22 release in March. GNOME uses odd minor version numbers to indicate
development status.

For more information about 2.21, the full schedules and the official
module lists, please see our 2.21 page:
  http://www.gnome.org/start/unstable/
or take a look at the abbreviated schedule reminder page at
  http://live.gnome.org/Schedule

We hope you'll love it,

The GNOME Release Team
